Practicing the French winmaking concept known as "terroir" - wherein the essence of the soil finds its true expression through the wines produced from it - Eric has found that his vineyards might be best compared to the Southern Rhone grapes found in France. The warmer climate, longer growing season, and loamy soil all contribute to the unique character of these wines.
Naturally, the future will lend itself to many other Mediterranean grape varieties. But for the time being, Glomski and Page Springs Cellars continue to hand-craft these artisinal wines, both for themselves and The Grand Canyon Winery
It is possible to visit these vineyards where the wines are first produced, and you can arrange to take a tour, enjoy a meal, and just absorb the stunning vistas of Page Springs Winery. You can even enjoy a table massage! Located just 15 miles south of Sedona, Arizona, an afternoon in the vineyards and the tasting room will truly enhance your visit to the Red Rock Country of Arizona.
